Frontiers’ annual Spotlight Award grants the Editors of an exceptionally active, collaborative, innovative and impactful Research Topic with the resources to organize a conference.

The Award of US$ 100,000 will allow the winning team of Topic Editors to organize an international scientific conference around their Research Topic. The conference aims to provide a forum that will foster collaboration, inspire the community and highlight emerging research in their field.

A Research Topic empowers leading researchers to edit article collections around their own area of research. 

Award

Committee

A committee drawn from Frontiers Editorial Boards will proceed to choose an exceptional Research Topic.

Finalists

A list of ten remarkable Research Topics completed within the year will be shortlisted.
